1stdibs.com and the NYDC Collaborate

With the tag-line of “The Most Beautiful Things On Earth” 1stdibs.com obviously leaves itself open to criticism. However, after perusing the site which features dealers from the USA, Canada, London and now Paris, a case can definitely be made to justify their claim.

For those who want a more tactile experience, Micheal Bruno founder of 1stdibs and James Druckman president and CEO of the New York Design Center had the good sense to collaborate and  provide a physical presence for collectors at 200 Lexington Avenue (10th floor) in NYC  (which is open to everyone and not trade only).

From antique furniture, fine art, jewelery and more 1stdibs has you covered. Where else could you find (with virtually no effort) a Thirteen-star 14 foot wide eagle American ship swallow-tailed pennant flag circa 1840, a George II giltwood marble top “Bacchus” table or a pair of elevator doors painted by Pop Art icon Roy Lichtenstein?
