Updating a classic can be risky business especially when that item is the Aviator from Ray Ban.

Originally created for pilots back in 1936 and launched by Ray Ban to the public the very next year, these glasses have been featured on many famous faces including General Douglas MacArthur, Tom Cruise and Michael Jackson among others.

This current update doesn’t tinker with any of the style but adds the benefit of being able to be folded which is a very practical detail for those tight on space while on the go.

Although available in five different colour options, the only ones of interest to us is the the pair pictured below in gunmetal/grey which are priced at $194.95 at Sunglass Hut.
