Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has been busy. Not only is he the vocalist of Beady Eye, but his clothing label Pretty Green which picked up the award for ‘Best Breakthrough Brand’ at the WGSN Global Fashion Awards 2011 is now expanding into Japan.

As with many celebrity endorsed products, Liam leaves a lot of the day to day to others (Pat Salter and Felix Blow in this case) but will not hesitate to put the brakes on something that doesn’t look right. With a style that is really very English rock & roll circa the late 1960′s, the Japanese expansion will provide some basis to evaluate the viability of the brand in other markets.

The new store will open to the public on 29th June and Liam himself will be in Tokyo officially opening the doors with a huge launch party on the evening of the 25th July.
