Even though I’m not really thinking of spring 2012, I couldn’t pass up the chance to show off this spring storm jacket from Fred Perry which is a great example of how a check pattern can be subtle and tasteful. This is part of the Laurel Wreath Collection which on the downside means higher prices than the standard Fred Perry offerings but on the other hand it’s actually made in England instead of being outsourced like so many things nowadays.
This hooded storm jacket has been created in soft checked cotton and features a double ended zip fastening, Harrington style pocket flaps and two button tabs at the neck. This checked storm jacket has a fully constructed hood to protect you from spring showers and is finished with the Laurel Wreath embroidery on the chest.
