Montblanc introduces its latest in an ongoing series of limited edition writing instruments, this time paying tribute to director Alfred Hitchcock.
Two models have been produced the 3000, which features 925 sterling silver fittings and includes a sophisticated surface effect reflecting the dizzying stairs in “Vertigo” as well as the familiar self-portrait which has been immortalised on the rhodium-plated 18 K gold nib.
The 80 has white gold fittings and features a slightly different “vertigo” effect in black lacquer and blood red swirls. Both models have a clip reminiscent of the knife used by Norman Bates in the film “Psycho”.
As you may have guessed, the number given to each pen refers to the quantity of each model available for sale.
