Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Gets A Pink Crocodile Makeover

In an attempt to win you over this Valentine’s Day, Piper-Heidsieck have added more pomp to their packaging with the release of the new Bodyguard Rosé Sauvage Champagne in a limited edition pink croc-embossed bottle.

A lot of work went into this rarefied faux-skin that uses the latest thermoplastic elastomer technology to reproduce these replica crocodile’s scales. This recreation started with a lengthy scanning process (of an actual Nile crocodile), that  resulted (after several steps) in a near perfect texture. In addition to looking good, the bottle covering actually serves a purpose which is to keep the Champagne cooler for longer.

The Bodyguard Rosé Sauvage Champagne is made from the same award winning blend as Piper Brut NV except for the addition of red wines from the Côte des Bar.

Price: £39.95 ($63.20)
