A few years ago, I don’t think anyone would have dreamed of uttering these two in the same breath but at the tail end 2010, J.Crew powered by Vice President of Men’s Design Frank Muytjens has made it happen.
The 250 year old English firm Swaine Adeney Brigg known for their luxury leather goods the world over, now have select items featured on J.Crew’s website including a spirits case, traditional buckle case and a trolley suitcase in both 18″ and 22″ sizes.
Featured here is the trolley suitcase made entirely by hand at the SAB’s London workshop. Fashioned in the finest English bridle leather employing traditional hand-tanning methods (a time-consuming process that offers a richness and superior depth that only improves with age). Every case is constructed around a custom-made steel frame, ensuring a lightweight yet exceedingly durable build.
Details include English bridle leather handles, lock closures with wraparound buckle strap and Brass hardware.
