With all the talk of British and American boots, sometimes other worthy brands of equal merit get overlooked. One such brand is Viberg.
Dating back to 1931, Viberg was primarily a maker of boots that were made to take a beating (think the Canadian logging industry for example). However, in recent years they have expanded into the lifestyle market and have since taken their place alongside some of the more prestigious names in footwear.
Made exclusively in thier factory in Victoria British Columbia Canada, Viberg uses traditional manufacturing methods and only the finest materials sourced from around the world. This includes brass tacks from England, heavyweight insoles from Spain, Vibram outsoles, Swiss hobnails and the finest upper leathers from renowned tanneries in the USA and Italy.
With over 200 steps used in producing each pair of boots, Viberg remains a company for which heritage and craft are king!
