Warby Parker + Invisible Children = Activist Sunglasses

Even though Warby Parker haven’t been around very long, they’ve managed to garner a lot of well deserved attention for boutique quality eyewear (with incredible classic style) that retails on their website for a mere $95.

But of course they’ve gone further than offering an incredible price point for eyewear. They also donate one pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair that they sell which enables you to share the gift of vision with someone who can’t see today and give them the opportunity to read, to work and to live a fuller life.

Now Warby Parker has teamed up with Invisible Children to outfit today’s young activist and to raise awareness about the plight of child soldiers in east Africa. Invisible Children is a social, political and global movement using the transformative power of story (documentary film) to change lives. By inspiring youth culture to value creativity, idealism and sacrifice, the movement fuels the most effective, adaptable and innovative programs in the world.

The Invisible Children sunglasses are yet available but for now here is the link to the sign up page so you can be notified when they are.
