Wildsmith Shoes Launching July 2013

Wildsmith-Bloomsbury

The once legendary English shoe brand Wildsmith worn by the likes of John F. Kennedy, Prince Charles, and Cary Grant will be launching in July after several years of inactivity.

This incarnation, which is apparently the creation of Chay Cooper from Alfred Sargent could also be made by Alfred Sargent as well. This is however only speculation as the only certainty is that they will be made in Northampton the English shoe mecca.

As you would expect, Leffot are the first to sell Wildsmith shoes in the U.S.A. and are currently promoting the Bloomsbury loafer ($525) which is derived from a model originally designed for King George VI.
